This research proposal investigates the practice and challenges of income-generating activities (IGAs) in five government-run technical and vocational education and training (TVET) colleges in Addis Ababa. It aims to assess the current status of IGAs to enhance financial sustainability and quality education, employing a descriptive survey method involving various data collection techniques. The study addresses major financial constraints and seeks to identify potential sources, utilization, and marketing strategies for IGAs within the institutions.
