This document provides information about the 3rd Meeting of Scientific Publishing in Natural History Institutions, held in Copenhagen on October 7-8, 2010. The meeting aimed to discuss trends in scientific publishing, identify collaborative solutions for natural history institutions, and formulate recommendations to improve dissemination and access to publications. Breakout sessions at the meeting covered topics such as economic models, library exchange programs, copyright, and fast-track publishing. The goals of the meeting were to allow networking among participants and decision-makers, share expertise on new technologies in taxonomy, and produce recommendations and checklists for natural history institutions.

technology to keep fulfilling our mission
