This document outlines Operation GRIZZLI - JCO1. 3. 1. Commander’s intent
 The purpose of providing the JFC’s Intent is to give general D&G
on all lines of operation to the subordinate commands for the
timeframe covered by the JCO. The COM JFC’s intent may also
include methods of accomplishing the mission, risk and end
state.

Based on the campaign objectives and Decisive Conditions set by the OPLAN, the JFC will name specific objectives
for the JF to achieve in the timeframe the JCO is supposed to cover.

COM JFC determines the Main Effort of the Phase the JCO is covering.
 4.2: Key actions
Those key actions that must be fulfilled by the JF in order to achieve the specific objectives set in para 2 of the JCO.
E.G: information operation priorities (JCO narrative, target audiences, effects to be achieved, key messages), airborne OPS, amphibious
operation, joint exercise, combined OPS with local forces, etc.

 Detailed below is the Commander’s Critical Information
Requirements (CCIRs) matrix, which will be reported
immediately through the Chain of Command by the Joint
Operations Centre (JOC).
 In addition, a Commander-directed Notification
Requirements (CNR) matrix has been added. This matrix lists
key events that are to be reported immediately through the
Chain of Command in the same way as for a CCIRs.
