This document provides an overview of the Economics and Law course. The aims are to help students develop an appreciation of relevant terminology and understand how economic models can inform systems engineering and computer science. Key models that will be covered include the prisoner's dilemma, stag hunt, chicken, volunteer's dilemma, and hawk-dove game. Students are encouraged to engage in wide reading from various perspectives to better understand opposing viewpoints on economic and policy issues.
