Active Student Participation in Learning Process Video of students during lesson 2 to be inserted here * Anticipatory Set :  Piques students’ interest by building on previous and current knowledge and gets them involved. * Guided Practice:   Students work in groups to complete tasks as I monitor their progress. * Thinking Maps:   Students are required to use higher level thinking skills to complete the multi-flow map which shows the causes and effects of antibiotic resistance. Learner-Centered Instruction ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],* Alignment of Instructional Strategies and Objectives:  This can be seen in all three lesson plans as well as in the video clips.  Instructional strategies implemented allow students to accomplish the lesson objectives. * Motivational Strategies: This can be see in the anticipatory sets of lesson plans 1 & 2.  Strategies pique students’ interests to motivate them to learn the lesson for the day. * Sequencing: The variation of activities and pacing and sequencing are maintained during the lessons according to students’ needs.
