E-learning is defined as the teaching and learning process using the internet, intranet, or other computer networks to deliver educational content to students. It has four main components: techware, humanware, orgaware, and infoware. The objectives of e-learning are to increase access and flexibility of learning, enhance quality, develop skills, and increase cost-effectiveness. While e-learning provides advantages like flexibility and lower costs, it also has disadvantages such as requiring technology, programming, and high initial costs. E-learning delivery methods can be synchronous, with real-time interaction, or asynchronous through online content available anytime.
