The document discusses e-classrooms and interactive online learning. It defines e-classroom as online learning where students are connected to the classroom through the internet rather than being physically present. It then lists several ways to make online learning more interactive, such as incorporating active learning methods, combining different media types, running cohort-based courses, incorporating live lessons, using microlearning and storytelling, gamification, pausing for questions, and encouraging peer evaluation and feedback. The document also lists types of e-learning and importance of e-classrooms, including accommodating individual needs, allowing repeated access to lectures and updated content, quick delivery of lessons, scalability, consistency, reduced costs, and effectiveness.
The whole aim of a learning process is to help the learner move from Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) to Zone of Achieved Development (ZAD). Most of us are aware of these terms from Lev Vygotsky's theory of learning and development. From unknowing to known, the distance between the current developmental level and potential development can be covered through guidance as per Lev Vygotsky’s theory.
But how do we know that this distance has been traversed by the learner?
The answer is performance assessment.

Teaching is an academic process it concerted with sharing of knowledge, experience and implements the concepts and goes beyond the knowledge level to higher levels of thinking. Teaching consist of getting students involved in the active construction of knowledge and creating the pedagogical, social and ethical conditions so that students take it individually and collectively. Learning activity is gaining knowledge by studying, practicing and experiencing something.
To improve the teaching-learning process, it is mandatory to follow smart ways of approach. Now the approach of education institutes is changing the teaching methods from the conventional teaching to the more advanced ones. The role of education is to empower students with their skills and attitudes that are essential to their success in our knowledge and society future.
Conventional teaching is still a backbone widely used in teaching at higher level of education. Conventional teaching customary chalk and talk technique in classroom teaching. This method is based on to delivers content of particular subject or topic to learners and understanding level of learner can be measured with help of written examination.
Conventional teaching involves instruction and the face to face interaction of teacher and learners to improve knowledge of both teacher and learners and also provides better understanding. Conventional teaching is teacher-centered and can be very effective particularly for sharing information, faster method for presenting information, creating interest and student understand best by lessening.
However conventional teaching is limiting the classroom for more creative thinking and also little considering individual difference.
Advanced methods of teaching include ICT, multimedia tool, smart board, E-classroom, activity-based learning methods. The multimedia tools are best medium to the teaching and provide students life-long learning as it enables the learner to understand the concept by images, audio, videos, web, apps etc. The use of smart board technique gives more content in less time and provides skill and understanding to the learners. This multimedia technique is highly effective and captivates the interest of many learners.
The blended classroom- El aula Semi presencial
Como pueden los maestros usar el aprendizaje semipresencial para hacer evaluaciones formativas y el aprendizaje visible posible?
How can you use opportunities afforded by technology to improve the learning experience?
The whitepaper describes the blended classroom concept which is the thoughtful integration of the at-school, at-home and online learning arenas. The combination is a powerful theory that helps all teachers using itslearning (and teachers using web 2.0 tools) to frame their work in the context of 21st-century teaching.
The whitepaper looks at some of the possibilities offered by technology and shows how two teachers are applying them in a pedagogical setting, in something refered to as the blended classroom.
The ideal blended classroom is about using available technology to put learning first by combining blended learning, visible learning and formative assessment; three of today’s most popular teaching strategies.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
2. What is E – Classroom ?
E-Classroom is a new concept where student will be present
with their teacher and fellow learners in a classroom however,
they will not be present physically in the classroom but
connected to the classroom through Internet.
E-classroom is a form of online learning, offering various
educational programs in an online form. This multimedia
classroom technology provides a unique learning experience. It
uses various educational platforms and communication tools to
simplify the process.

3. Engaging learners in your online learning program is one of the
keys to ensuring they learn effectively and get the most out of
what they are doing. One of the most effective ways to make
learners more engaged in what they are doing it to make it
interactive. With interactive online learning experiences,
learners have no option other than to get involved and take an
active role in their learning. Here are five simple ways to engage
your learners by making your online learning program more
interactive.
4. 1. Incorporate Active Learning :
Active learning methods ask students to
engage in their learning by thinking,
discussing, investigating, and creating.
In class, students practice skills, solve
problems, struggle with complex questions,
make decisions, propose solutions, and
explain ideas in their own words through
writing and discussion.
Ways to create more interactive online learning:
5. 2. Combine different media types into engaging learning
scenarios :
St To ensure they’re engaging with your content, try adding
notes, links, or voice explanations directly to images. These
interactive elements guide the learner and help them pay
attention to the material we want to highlight.
6. 3. Try running a cohort-based course
A cohort-based course is a program of learning that’s
organized according to a syllabus (usually in sections)
and is taken by a group of students (a cohort) at the
same time. Cohort-based courses can take place
online, in a virtual space, or in a physical classroom.
7. 4. Incorporate live lessons
Sit & talk with peers nearby.
Prompt about a concept or topic.
Give students 1-2 minutes to think
about the prompt on their own.
Facilitate a whole group discussion.
Listen to their responses.
8. 5. Use Microlearning
Microlearning is an educational strategy
that breaks complex topics down into short-
form, stand-alone units of study that can be
viewed as many times as necessary,
whenever and wherever the learner has the
need.
9. 6. Use storytelling methods of teaching
It provides the children with a window to a new
world.
It gives the opportunity to learn new ideas. They
learn valuable life lessons through hearing and
exciting stories.
This method can be used to teach ethics, values
and cultural norms.
10. 7. Use Gamification
Gamification is adding game
mechanics into nongame
environments, like a website, online
community, learning management
system or business' intranet to
increase participation.
11. 8. Pause for questions and answer live chats
You can take this element from teaching in-person, where
students can ask questions when the teacher is lecturing and
bring it to your online courses.
12. 9. GeoGebra :
GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics
software for all levels of education that
brings together geometry, algebra,
spreadsheets, graphing, statistics and
calculus in one engine. In addition,
GeoGebra offers an online platform with
over 1 million free classroom resources
created by our multilingual community.
(NPTEL, MOOC, SWAYAM)

13. 10. Invite learners to contribute
Having the learners contribute their knowledge by
making resources or hosting online group study sessions
is another way to empower them. Task-based learning
can provide the learners with a real, relevant outcome
which can be shared with other learners who are earlier
in their learner journey to inspire them and help with their
studies.
14. 11. Encourage peer evaluation
A classic classroom technique that works a
treat online. Enabling learners to review each
other’s work reinforces their understanding of
what they are doing and encourages a culture
of sharing which can be valuable in spreading
best-practice.
15. 12. Ask for feedback
Any chance the learners have to leave feedback
is a great opportunity for interaction. How we
respond to the feedback can also have other
advantages for streamlining programs and
making them more relevant.
17. Importance of E - Classroom
1. Online Learning Accommodates Everyone’s
Needs
2. Lectures Can Be Taken Any Number Of Times
3. Offers Access To Updated Content
4. Quick Delivery Of Lessons
5. Scalability
6. Consistency
7. Reduced Costs
8. Effectiveness
9. Less Impact On Environment
10. Learner Feels More Comfortable
11. Makes Learning Stress-free
So, due to the wide set of benefits it gives to
students, eLearning has become quite popular and
appreciated among students all over the world.
