IRJET- Experimental Work by Vacuum Methodology Study on Waste Water

This paper proposes a 1 MLD water treatment plant based on Soil Biotechnology which can efficiently treat the Nazafgarh drain water and make it fit for disposal into Yamuna. SBT is an eco-friendly and sustainable technology developed at IIT Bombay which provides all levels of treatment in a single evergreen set up open to atmosphere which is odorless, cheap, simple to operate, easy to maintain and could be set up within the area of habilitation.

Abstract:
Aquaponics refers to the raising of fish as well as growing of plants in a soil-less environment. Fish and plants grows at the same integrated system. The organic food source for plants is sourced from fish waste. On the other hand, plants carry out water filtration for the fish. Nitrifying bacteria also take part by converting ammonia resulting from fish to nitrates, and later to nitrates. Plants use nitrates to grow. Comparative analysis between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquapon...
The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.

IRJET- Experimental Work by Vacuum Methodology Study on Waste Water
The document describes an experimental study on wastewater treatment using vacuum filtration methodology. The study collected wastewater from residential areas and treated it using reverse osmosis (RO) filtration to purify the water by removing contaminants. Testing showed that the RO filter was able to absorb 3-5 liters of water per hour. The treated water was then suitable for reuse applications like gardening. Vacuum filtration was used to rapidly draw the wastewater through a filter. Activated carbon filtration was also utilized to remove gases, smoke particles, bacteria, chemicals and other pollutants from the water. The treated water met purity standards for reuse after processing the wastewater through the RO filtration system.

This highly polluted water flows into the Orathapalayam Dam and has contaminated both surface and ground water in the region, rendering the water unfit for drinking or irrigation. Release of water from the dam in 1997 caused significant damage to crops, soil and animals. The dam itself may also collapse due to structural problems caused by the pollution.

The need of the hour is to find an innovative solution to resolve the problem of water recycling and offer a platform to the industries where the burden of treating their factory effluents is taken care of. This paper proposes a 1 MLD water treatment plant based on Soil Biotechnology which can efficiently treat the Nazafgarh drain water and make it fit for disposal into Yamuna. SBT is an eco-friendly and sustainable technology developed at IIT Bombay which provides all levels of treatment in a single evergreen set up open to atmosphere which is odorless, cheap, simple to operate, easy to maintain and could be set up within the area of habilitation.

Abstract:
Aquaponics refers to the raising of fish as well as growing of plants in a soil-less environment. Fish and plants grows at the same integrated system. The organic food source for plants is sourced from fish waste. On the other hand, plants carry out water filtration for the fish. Nitrifying bacteria also take part by converting ammonia resulting from fish to nitrates, and later to nitrates. Plants use nitrates to grow. The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.

Embedded machine learning-based road conditions and driving behavior monitoring
Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.

The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network

- 2. INTRODUCTION ENGINEERING IN SOCIETY is aimed at encouraging students early in their programs of study to draw a link between their chosen field of engineering and the application of this field to the issues that confront the day to day lives of people. As an engineering student I have come to the realization of the need to make the world a better place to live by identifying the world challenges and making the necessary efforts of solving them. Engineering in society as it stands is my starting point of how to systematically, scientifically and technologically address the world challenges of today which can also be applicable tomorrow too.
- 3. COMMUNITY DESCRIPTION AND ITS PROBLEM ABUTIA KPOTA is a farming community in the Volta region. RICE FARMING is the lucrative work of all the other farming activities. APPLICATION OF HERBICIDES in the farms causes unconscious poisoning of the water body which is the PROBLEM. CHEMICALS (e.g. 2, 4 D AMINE) from the herbicides used in the farm pollute the water which the farmers and other inhabitants depend on for survival. STOMACH ACHES AND OTHER SERIOUS HEALTH SICKNESSES are the results of the poisoning.
- 4. RESOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM RELATION OF THE PROBLEM AND FIELD OF STUDY is that control of water pollution is one of the responsibilities of a GEOLOGICAL ENGINEER. CLUES FROM FIELD OF STUDY TO CURB DOWN THE PROBLEM is simply following the set down procedures in identifying the chemicals and compounds and continuing to render them harmless. TECHNOLOGICAL APPROACH to solving the problem is the putting of structures in place to control water movement in the field and also to other inhabitants that depend on water.
- 5. CONCLUSION Stomach aches and other negative effects will be eroded if the solution lines are followed. Developments can also be achieved through high yield because of the introduction of technology into the system.
- 6. RECOMMENDATIONS SPECIAL CARE should be taken during the mechanism operations. The mechanism can be upgraded to IRRIGATION SYSTEM. EXPERTISE should also be included in the operation.
