Digital Twin Spark Ignition (DTS-i) is a system that uses two spark plugs instead of one to ignite the air-fuel mixture in a 4-stroke petrol engine. This allows for faster and more complete combustion, resulting in increased power output and efficiency. DTS-i is currently used in some Bajaj motorcycle models like the Platina, Discover, and Pulsar. It provides benefits like lower ignition time, full combustion of the rich mixture, and less vibration, though it may cause some overheating at high speeds. In summary, DTS-i is a cheaper alternative to increasing engine power through more efficient combustion using dual spark plug ignition.

• WHAT IS THE BENFIT OF DTS-i
OVER NORMAL PETROL ENGINE
In 4-stroke petrol engine at ignition time the
air and fuel mixture does not burn completely.
But when DTS-i system use in engine the rich
mixture completely burn and the ignition time
decrease. And power of engine increases

When the rich mixture of air and fuel
enter in the combustion chamber , the
two spark plugs fixed at opposite end
of engine cylinder generated spark and
this spark burn the mixture that burned
mixture gives power to the 4-stroke
engine. Here spark generated by the

However owners mistakenly think it is high-tech.

•The Dts-I engine is most advanced and
cheaper technology to obtain higher power
combustion with less ignition time. How
ever with some limitations this is better
technolgy.We can see this technology only
in BAJAJ INDIA bikes because of patent
rights.
