o Primary Project Engineer on transonic and supersonic testing oftechnologically improved existing
missile-body aircraft for leading DoDcontractor. Adapted previously developed control system to
achieveaerodynamic trim and simulate “fly the mission”conditions in the wind tunnel. Managed test
project from initial rough order ofmagnitudecost estimate through delivery offinal data and
technical report. Coordinated and directed efforts ofengineers and skilled laborsupportthroughout
the planning, execution, analysis, and reporting phases ofthe test program. This test used rotary
encoders to position the canards. The encoders malfunctioned during pre -test checkout. Directed
efforts and participatedin failure analysis. Determined malfunction was caused prior to delivery.

o Primary Project Engineer for development ofnew methodology to calculatesting divergence.
Identified problem areas in the incumbent method. Recommended new method to replace former
test-specific requirements with transparent process to be usedon all tests ofsting-mounted models.

o Assisted Project Engineers with planning, execution, and data analysis oftransonic wind tunnel tests
on Joint Strike Fighter (F-35), GlobalHawk, Navy Standard Missile,and the F-15. Test planning
