PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Orbital ATK, Clearwater, Fl. 7/86- Present
Aircraft Integration Engineer: (2014-2015)
Managed the aircraft integration effort in a foreign country to install a missile warning system on
6 military helicopters within 3 months including the flight testing and airworthiness certification.
Completed acceptance test plans and procedures in accordance with customer wishes
for a successful selloff of all 6 helicopters to the foreign military.
Successfully generated flight and ground testing reports for all helicopters to satisfy
military customer requirements.
Worked with foreign Airworthiness Certification Board to provide documentation on new
systems, update maintenance and operating manuals to ultimately obtain Airworthiness
certifications for all 6 helicopters.
Field Test Engineer: (2002-2015)
Conducted live fire data collection testing for military sensor aircraft protection systems.
Traveled extensively to support customer contracts by operating sensor systems during live fire
data collections which promoted further software algorithm development.

Organized live fire testing by preparing test plans and procedures, designing test
fixturization and participating in the testing which resulted in successful data collections
and customer approvals.
Conducted successful data collection field testing by proper setup preparation, adequate
dry running and ensuring that valuable data is backed up and archived while managing
and overcoming technical issues that arise.
Authored live fire test reports and data deliveries to obtain customer approval which
culminated in successful data collections.
Mentored and trained new engineers on how to conduct data collections, interface with
customers, adapt to abnormal work hours and harsh environmental working conditions to
obtain a successful test.
Extensive experience working on live ordinance military test ranges with no safety
occurrences.
Design Engineering/Environmental / Hi-G Testing: (1992-2002)
Conducted environmental qualification testing and Hi-G survival testing on subassemblies of a
gun launched smart weapons system. Responsible for test planning, authoring test procedures,
assembly of test items, testing operation, data analysis and test report generation. Extensive
travel to support integration, final assembly and testing at the firing range.
Experience handling and performing assembly operations on product integrated with
explosives.
Developed new processes and procedures to enable machinery to produce and paint
military tracer ammunition. Authored and conducted test procedures to certify the new
processes.
