 Signal-something which gives you some info
Definition 1 - Signal is a physical quantity that bears some information.
 The traffic signal changes to different colors repeatedly over a period of time
Definition 2 – Signal is a physical quantity that changes with time.
Some practical examples –
 Depositing a certain amount of money every month as savings in your bank
 Measuring temperature from 5 AM till 5 PM on a given day

 How would you do prefer to drive if you were driving on a highway when there are less vehicles on the road?
