Jobs
My dream job :
Ambition is the dedication, drive and determination one has for prospering and
achieving their goals in life. Humans are all the same, we each have dreams and
desires that we wish to complete in life. The ambition to achieve those goals is the
driving force that can lead each person to success.
Many teenagers spend a lot of time thinking of what they want to do when they
graduate from high school. I am fortunate in that I already know; I decided to
become a doctor when I was six or seven years old. Humans need people to treat
them with the respect and dignity they deserve, and I want to be one of those
people. First, I have been taking my education here very seriously, because I
know that a person needs to be not only knowledgeable, but also extremely
disciplined in order to become a doctor. Because of this, I work hard to earn good
grades, I take pride in my work, and I have learned to manage my time properly.
These skills will be particularly valuable when I enter college.
2. After leaving high school, I must attend college because it is definitely a
requirement for becoming a doctor. In fact, a bachelor’s degree is necessary in
order to even enter a doctors program. One must also possess excellent
communication, leadership, public speaking, and organizational skills.
Once I have completed a medical program, I will be able to pursue my dream
career. This career provides numerous benefits, the first of which is salary. The
average doctor salary is $12,000 a year, a salary that would definitely allow me to
live a comfortable life. Another advantage of becoming a doctor is job stability. As
long as there are people, sickness and disease in the world, doctors are needed.
Doctors are viewed as lifesavers and get a lot of respect in the community,
especially from individuals they have provided health care to.
But every coin has two sides, so they are several main disadvantages of being a
doctor. First of all is a very risky profession. As doctors deal with peoples' lives
every day, a great responsibility lie on their shoulders. Ask yourself if you are
ready to deal with situations when mistakes are not acceptable .Also you have
irregular working hours. Sometimes doctors are required to work at night and on
weekends. Although it depends on a particular field of medicine, many doctors
have to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Finally you constant
emotional stresses. Each doctor deals with stressful situation. Many of them see
how people die and fail to help them.
