Dramatization involves enacting real-life situations through role-playing to provide a meaningful understanding of concepts. It creates a safe classroom environment for practicing language skills by allowing students to assume roles and have natural conversations. Dramatization makes learning more enjoyable by relaxing students and changing their perception of class from a traditional order. It introduces problems dramatically and allows students to explore situations and practice skills while learning in a fun way without frustration.

2. Dramatization is the natural and systematic enaction of
life situations with a view to give realistic and meaningful
understanding and appreciation. In dramatization, life situations are
depicted in the form of a drama and the ideas to be presented are
revealed through the action, conversation and behavioural patterns
of the characters.
Dramatisation is an excellent activity for learning
oral skills in a safe environment of the classroom. In this way,
students are given particular roles. It gives them the chance to
practice the target language before they do conversation in real
environment. It provides a realistic environment for language
practice that the learners are free to take turns, ask questions and
change topics in small groups or pairs. One small action is more
powerful than reading hundred of course books.
The word ‘drama’ means ‘to act or to do’. In
dramatization, an individual attempts to act or do as somebody else
has acted or is expected to act, at a certain time, in a certain place
and situation. Drama makes learning process more enjoyable.
Changing a classroom structure from a traditional order can be a
positive factor which will relax students and thus will change their
achievement and perception of the class.
Inserting drama activities to English classes can
help students to learn while having fun, which in the most cases
means learning without the hard work and frustration. It introduces
problem situation dramatically; it provides opportunity for learners
to assume roles of others and thus appreciate another point of view.
It allows for exploration of situation and provides opportunity to
practice skills.

3. Through Dramatization, we can develop the
creative instincts of the children. It provides a change to the students
from the formal and rigid atmosphere of classroom reading of books.
It is psychological to help in developing the power of the learning of
the students. It also helps to develop the power of self creativeness
among the students. Dramatization provides an excellent
opportunity for group works and social participation among students.
It provides stable knowledge and students learn by doing and so their
experiences are strengthened.
