Partial DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE of Dr Rajamani
1. Studied recovery of sulfur from pyrite ore by fixed and fluid bed roasting in a pilot plant to obtain solid sulfur.
2. Manufactured milk powder on a semi commercial scale using thin film evaporator and spray drier. Operation of
the total plant to make saleable milk products.
3. Taught design, drawing, unit operations laboratory, stoichiometry and mechanical operations for fourth and final
year chemical engineering students.

3. 4. Studied kinetics of furfural oxidation and amination of alcohols in catalytic vapor phase continuous reactor.
5.Established a factory to manufacture polymers, plasticizers’ and chemicals required for making rocket propellants.

erection, commissioning and operation of the entire plant.
