Objective To obtain a position as a Process Control and Instrumentation Technician
Experience 2006-currently employed Milliken Dover, GA
Process Control and Instrumentation Supervisor
 Assist in developing and providing necessary technical input for the establishment of effective
preventive maintenance programs and/or technical procedures.
 Provide technical support to the maintenance department on a day-to-day or emergency
basis as required.
 Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using
voltmeters, ohmmeters, and meggers.
 Test mechanical devices using potentiometers, indicators, calipers and gauges.
 Understand and support PDM technologies, vibration, thermograph, ultrasound, oil analysis
and current analysis.
 Proficiency in removal and install of position, temperature, pressure, level flow transmitters to
include verification and field calibration as required to maintain system integrity.
 Proficiency in reading P&ID s, isometric drawings, schematics and mechanical exploded view
drawings, OEM documentation as a troubleshooting tool.
 Proficiency in data collection, analysis and technical feedback threw work order system and
direct communication to team members.
 Ability to provide detailed technical information as it relates to job steps and expectations of
findings to assist operations in permits and JSA documentation.
 Proficiency in computer applications and MS Excel and Word.
 Assist other crafts in accomplishing plant maintenance work.
 Perform reliability walk-thru and assist in inspections.
 Maintain proper safety awareness and follow plant safety procedures in all plant activities.
