Presentation I gave at the Time Millionaires conference - September 2012.
Discussing 7 key mindset shifts for business and personal development for those in the fitness & health industry. Keys for creating the life you want.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate”. - C.G Jung
Self-discovery is simply finding or uncovering your own individuality in order to fulfil God’s purpose for your life.
As every electronic gadget is created to meet a specific need, so likewise is every human on the surface of the earth. God has created us to fill a particular spot, to dominate it with something he has deposited in us.
That is why this e-book is packaged to take you briefly on a journey of self-discovery, and I believe that by the time you will be concluding this journey, you will have an understanding God’s original plan for you, who you are and why you are created. You will begin to manifest excellence in your life.
Enjoy!
I get a real kick out of seeing people achieve. This presentation is all about vanquishing the best of procrastination. This deck contains ideas that may help you actualize your goals.
Have you ever found yourself bleary-eyed and strung out from too much coffee and too little sleep after pulling an "all nighter" right before the big biology test? If you are a full-time student, you have a full-time job. You may not think of school as a job but consider this. You typically have 12-15 or more hours of class per week. In addition, you are expected to put in about 2 hours of preparation and production outside of class for each hour in class. This means that your work week is at least 36 to 45 hours long. This is a full-time occupation. In "Time Management for College Students," we will give you some guidelines to help you better manage your time.

Do What You Love (or your work life will totally suck)Denise Jacobs
We’ve all been there: working jobs that we don’t like for “good money”, while having the nagging suspicion that we could be doing something so much more satisfying and fulfilling. This is an opportunity to get past fears and instead be inspired and excited about doing what you *really* want to be doing for work in your life.
Find your true passion and do what you love to doVioleta Salas
There's no secret about success.
Great business requires heart and dedication. Successful people win because they love what they do. Actually, your noble passion is your mission.
One of the most asked questions people will ask before going into business is, "Should I follow my passion, or follow my dreams?" Are they the same? Will your passion or your dreams make you money and turn into a business? I think you will find the answer here!
Fail Fast is a presentation brought to you by Jean-Christophe Conticello, Luis Novella and Laure Smit for Wemanity. It's about celebrating the learning process, learning from failure, going from one failure to another in order to achieve success.
Building a culture where intrapreneurs are not afraid to fail is critical if you hope to be innovative. Here are some ideas to help create that environment
Having an audience is a powerful thing. With a relatively modest number of people dedicated to your brand and products, you can easily sustain yourself.
You don’t have to have millions or hundreds of thousands of followers—the beautiful thing about the internet is its ability to bring people with unique interests together. Even if you have a very specific focus, there are a ton of other people across the world that share those interests and that adds up quickly.
Yet, many people worry about narrowing their focus. It feels like you’re excluding a bunch of people! It seems counter-intuitive: What if the niche dries up? What happens if interest suddenly goes away?
The good news is, you don’t need to be afraid to niche down. If you’re about the people and serving their needs, you’re going to adapt naturally without even noticing it. You might suddenly realize you’re in a different industry because you followed the people—that makes you immune to an industry going away or drying up.
Why grow an audience?
This is what growing an audience can do for you:
• You are seen as an authority.
• You are able to sell products.
• You are able to build community.
• Launching new things gets easier.
I was invited to speak at Creative South this year. It’s one of my favorite conferences and I recommend it highly (we have a special recap video we’ll be publishing next week for those of you considering going in 2016).
In my talk below, I share my story in a holistic way that I never have before. You may have heard bits and pieces of my story on the seanwes podcast, but never all together quite like this.
I break the talk into two parts:
1. My story and what growing an audience has done for me.
2. 4 keys to growing an audience—I break down the principles from my story into actionable takeaways.

We all want to be known for something, we all want to make a name for ourselves, but there’s a harsh reality we’re up against:
The reality is people put other people in boxes.
We are cognitively limited to maintaining 150 close relationships.
What does this mean? It’s means people are forced to categorize. They’re going to put you in a box. There’s nothing you can do about that—it’s going to happen.
What you can do is shape the box they’re already going to put you in. How do you shape it? You curate what you share.
Curation is the first of the keys. In the linked video, you hear me talk about all four of them:
1. Curation (kind)
2. Consistency (frequency)
3. Quality (value)
4. Time (patience)

How To Work Less And Earn More - Adrian FlemingAdrian Fleming

Time is never on your side, but that shouldn’t stop you from making more with less, that way you can choose how you want to spend your time rather than be in a position where you have to do something, which is not good as an entrepreneur.
Tip 1.
Do something where you are not paid for your time.
People get caught up in the concept of an hourly rate, this is a way to try and commoditise you but this is a very silly way to buy or sell. For example what I can do in an hour is very different to what other people can do, in an hour of my time on marketing or entrepreneurial strategy I can deliver serious value but in other areas I’m just not, “a good fit’ for example DIY, yes I can do it and if I have to I’m neat and tidy, but I’m not fast and so my productivity is low. By the way I don’t enjoy DIY so don’t even ask, in fact a good friend of mine who’s an electrician jokes that I try and fix everything with a hammer which is not far from the truth in some circumstances.
Do what you do well and put a value on the job, not the hours, this way you can work less and earn more.
Tip 2.
Don’t tray and do too much
People make the mistake of getting organised by using a list, which is on a basic level fine, but when the list gets long the chances are it will actually slow you down and cause you to procrastinate. I find the best possible way to manage things is to set out a “To Do List” of no more than three things at a time and base these things on what I can deliver on fast, then create a new list.
Now I get that it’s not always this straight forward but you will be surprise that if you use a simple, list of only 3 things and block out as many other distractions until they are done, like email and phone calls, then you really do much more in less time and this means you work less and earn more.
Tip 3.
Stop focusing success and start defining desired outcomes
If you set yourself a goal or specific set of criteria that define success or failure then you are likely to get frustrated and disheartened from time to time. What I like to do is set a desired outcome and look at small results as I move towards that outcome, let me give you and example relative to working less and earning more.
If you have a customer and they have an expectation based goals or a specific set of success criteria it will be hard to measure the true value of something, for example if you set out a budget for Facebook Ads and your goal is 1,000 new leads in the next 7 days then this is good in so much as you have metrics and a deadline, but it’s far from serving your customer well.
