This document discusses managing anxiety through occupational therapy. It suggests OT can help identify concerns and goals to reduce anxiety, teach relaxation techniques, and provide education on how anxiety affects the body. When relaxed, people can perform daily activities with less stress. Group therapy helps people learn strategies to function better and feel normalizing their anxiety experience. Managing anxiety enables people to be themselves, live in the moment, do everyday tasks, and belong as they wish.
