What is Multiple Sclerosis?

 Multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory disease that affects the ability
of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each
other effectively
 MS is most often diagnosed in young adults, aged 15 to 40

 MS can cause loss of balance, impaired speech, extreme fatigue,
double vision, cognitive impairment, and paralysis
 Most people with MS continue to walk and function at work with
minimal disability for 20 or more years
