Dermatoglyphics
Dermatoglyphics is the scientific
study of the finger prints.
• Dermatoglyphics refers to the branch of
science which studies the patterns of skin’s
(dermal) ridges present on the fingers, toes
and the soles of human being. Its reveals the
congenital links between our fingers and our
intrinsic qualities and talents.
• Dermatoglyphics has absolute scientific basis,
with 200 years of research. It is analyzed and
proven with evidence in anthropology,
genetics, medicine and statistics.
• In recent years U.S., Japan, etc. have applied
Dermatoglyphics to diagnose Down’s
Syndrome, congenital disorders, genetic
abnormalities & it is used also in educational
fields, human resources management,
employee recruitment, etc.

Is Dermatoglyphics a form of fortune telling ?
Ans: Absolutely not.
Palmistry or Chiromancy is the divination of the future by interpretation of the concave
furrows of our palms. The lines of the palms are impermanent and will change over time.
According to over 7000 research papers and reports by various scientists, the
human brain is closely related to fingerprint patterns.
With the aid of computers, we can now analyze the brain composition, organization,
learning models and styles, nine intelligences and personalities. Dermatoglyphics
Multiple Intelligence Assessment is the science of comparing, analyzing, and classifying
the patterns of skin and ridge counts of each person's fingerprints.

Where Do Fingerprints Come From?
According to medical research, fingerprints are created before
birth. They are formed during the fetal development stage
between the 13th to 21st prenatal weeks.
Will Finger Prints Change?
No, our fingerprints are as invariable as they are
unique. Between year 1626 and1690, Spanish Dr.
Marcello Malphigi pioneered the scientific research on
fingerprints. He was also the first Professor or
anatomy to utilize the microscope to examine
fingerprints and record them. In his research, he
discovered that individual fingerprints are unique.

Shankar Mahadevan was born and brought
up in Chembur, Mumbai, He graduated in
1988 with a degree in Computer Science
Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of
Technology in Navi Mumbai under the
auspices of Mumbai University. He worked as
a software engineer on Oracle Version Six.
Acadamic Background
After working for a while for Leading Edge Systems, Shankar ventured into
the field of music. He earned his first award as a playback singer in aTamil
movie, collaborating with A. R. Rahman and winning a National Film Award for
his song in Kandukondain Kandukondain. A prominent star in the Kodambakkam
film industry, he gained further recognition upon the release of his first music
album, Breathless, in 1998. The title track of the album had been prepared in
such a manner that it is sung without any break, so it appears to be sung in one
breath and thus the title "breathless". He later got into music direction and
became a part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio, composing music for Hindi films.
