Make your own cut out shirt
What you will need:

                                         - An old shirt
                                         - A Scissors
                                         - An Iron
                                         - Iron-on hem tape
                                         (Wonderweb- you
                                         can buy this in
                                         Hickeys)




Note: Ask a responsible Adult to help you with the ironing,
don't try to do it yourself.
Step 1
Cut a slit (about 4 cm long) on the top end of the shirt by the
collar
Step 2
Carefully cut along the shoulder seam going from the collar to
the arm seam, and then cut from collar downward along the
button seam to the third button – creating an ‘L’ cut.
Step 3
Then cut diagonally from the shoulder seam to the third button
– creating a triangle out of your ‘L’ shape.
Step 4
Make sure to leave around 4cm of fabric to fold under to hem
Cut the Wonderweb the length of the shoulder to the third
button along the diagonal cut.
Step 5
 Fold the flap of fabric under with the hem tape in between
 and ask an adult to iron over the area per the instructions on
 the hem tape (wonderweb).




Tip
Put a Towel inside the shirt to prevent the hem tap from sticking
to the other side of the shirt

Try on your new shirt!
