Workplace diversity is like a mosaic, where different shapes, sizes, and colors come together to create a unified whole. It involves learning from those different than us, respecting all individuals, and creating an environment where diverse perspectives can contribute. An organization benefits from diversity through a variety of perspectives that help anticipate changes in technology, business, and customer needs. To realize these benefits, barriers to change must be overcome by understanding and promoting diversity within the organization.
