Top management and professional staff must understand why
changes must be made. These may include scarcity of financial
resources, absence of strategic capabilities, which includes lack
of commitment from top management. Upper management may
perceive certain changes not as important and the benefits not
outweighing the risks. Finally, employees may not be fully
committed to change because they do not fully understand the
why and the how of such transition. Resistance may hamper the
process of innovation and decrease the effectiveness of the
change (Pinzone, Lettieri & Masella, 2013).How can those
barriers best be mitigated? Why?

Topic: hospital Acquired infection Top management and professional staff must understand why changes must be made. These may include scarcity of financial resources, absence of strategic capabilities, which includes lack of commitment from top management. Upper management may perceive certain changes not as important and the benefits not outweighing the risks. Finally, employees may not be fully committed to change because they do not fully understand the why and the how of such transition. Resistance may hamper the process of innovation and decrease the effectiveness of the change (Pinzone, Lettieri & Masella, 2013).How can those barriers best be mitigated? Why?
