Christian wedding rituals typically take place in a church before friends and family. There are various pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding rituals and traditions. These include bridal showers, bachelor parties, unveiling of the bride, exchanging rings, reciting vows, the reception with the first dance and toasts to the couple, and bouquet throwing where the woman who catches it is said to be next to marry. Different Christian denominations may have diverse wedding practices and beliefs regarding marriage.

- 4. Bridal shower • It is a time when all the females gather at the bride's place and rejoice by singing and dancing. • They shower gifts on the bride and she offers them a pink cake with a hidden thimble. Whoever gets the piece with the thimble, is supposed to get married next.
- 5. Bachelor's party • Groom along with his male friends Party in order of the last night as a bachelor. • This is considered a wild party bash, • Raising a toast is a must here.

The Unveiling• The husband and wife are not to see each other before meeting at the altar because it is thought to be bad luck; reason being that many marriages where man and wife see one another before meeting at the Altar • The groom is to be first to see woman’s entire face at the time of the ceremony
- 7. Vow taken • “I, (name), take you, (name), to be my husband. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.”
- 8. The Reception• The Bride and the Groom share a dance as the first dance. “I introduce Mr.___ and Mrs. ____” • Toasts are made by all immediate family members as they wish the couple a blessed life ahead.

Bouquet ThrowingBefore the Woman/Wife leaves with her husband she throws a bouquet of flowers with girls gathered behind her • It is said that the woman who catches the bouquet is destined to be married next. • The reason behind this is that the people start looking for a spouse for that young lady
