1. Digipack Detailed
Analysis
After studying the different types of digipack designs, I
decided the most appropriate style of cover would be the
whole image across the cover design.
Now I have researched the typical codes and conventions
of this types of album design to help me create a more
professional look on my own design.

4. There are many things that I have found from studying the typical codes and conventions of
this type of album digipack. Firstly on the that appears critical when creating a digipack is
continuity, continuity in colour, in placement and the overall theme, in each of these digipacks
although they both were very different and used different colour schemes, different placement
of the text and barcode and different message and theme, the continuity of each was always
consistent.
Secondly the colour scheme of the images used must contrast with the colour of the text
used, each album showed this by using darker text on the second album as the image is paler
while the first album used paler text as the images were darker, this is something I will have to
take into account when I create my own digipack.
The band name and title appeared to be more important on each of these albums than the
album name, this is something I will take into account, that the band logo cannot be
overshadowed by the album title.
I also found that although text needs to be simple and clear, the track listings are sometimes
used in very unique and quirky ways, e.g. to look like song lyrics. But this is only for the track
listing the text shown on the cover needs to remain clear and understandable
