This is done so purchasers who obviously like the band music can follow them while on their tour and if seeing when they are in a local town may make them want to buy a ticket. This is an excellent example of a digi pack and one which I will use as inspiration for my own

2. Pictures on the album cover of the artists have been used to promote themselves along with the album. Putting a face to the music and making it more personal. This is used on many album covers, such as the Saturdays here, and means viewers know them not just for their music.

3. Nero’s album cover is a great example of self promotion, boldly showing the artists name without promoting the artist themselves through pictures shown for example in the Saturday’s cover. This shows how this artist wants the audience to focus solely on the music rather than the image. This is what I have used as inspiration for my own album cover, as the artist ‘skrillex’ is of the same music genre and uses this himself. Choosing to promote his name more than himself as a face for this.
