3. The visual means of learning
 In the visual style, learners prefer using images,
pictures, colors, and maps to organize information and
communicate with others and also learn from others.
 Fields that make use of visual style include visual art,
architecture, photography, video or film, design, and
navigation.
 Learning techniques includes mind maps, Replacing
words with pictures and visual journey or story
technique

4. The Aural means of learning
 If learners use the aural style, they like to work
with sound and music or pitch and rhythm.
 Some pursuits that use the aural style are
playing, conducting, or composing music, and
sound engineering.
 Learning techniques includes sound recordings ,
rhythm and rhyming of content and music in
learning.

5. The verbal means of learning
 In the verbal style, learners like to use both
written and spoken word.
 Pursuits that use the verbal style include
public speaking, debating, politics, writing
and journalism.
 Learning techniques include verbal
exchanges such as negotiations, Acronym
mnemonics and scripting

6. Physical/Kinesthetic means of learning
 In the physical style , it's likely that learners use
their body and sense of touch to learn about the
world around them.
 The physical style include areas such as
mechanical, construction and repair work, sports
and athletics, drama and dancing.
 Learning techniques include Physically touching
objects as you learn and to practicing skills and
behaviors

7. Logical means of learning
 In the logical style, learners like using their brain
for logical and mathematical reasoning. They
recognize patterns easily, as well as connections
between seemingly meaningless content.
 Areas of pursuit include detective work, law and
computer programming.
 Learning techniques include highlighting logical
thoughts and behaviors and highlighting your
ability to pick up systems and procedures easily

8. Social way of learning
 People with the social style listen well and
understand other's views and are sensitive to their
motivations, feelings or moods.
 Some examples of pursuits that people with a
strong social style may follow include counseling,
teaching, coaching and politics.
 Learning techniques include sharing your key
assertions with others and Working in groups to
practice behaviors

9. Solitary means of learning
 Individuals with solitary style are more private,
introspective, independent, can concentrate well,
focusing their thoughts and feelings.
 Fields of endeavor include authors and researchers.
 Learning techniques include Creating a personal
interest in your topics and Aligning your goals and
objectives with personal beliefs and values

10. It should how ever be noted that individuals
may posses more than one of the learning
styles above.
