DIADEM seeks to remove major pain points for Mobile Network
Operators (MNO)
Replacing the traditional system infrastructure with a blockchain
network using de-centralised smart contracts
Transferring billing, and contracting operations to a blockchain
system will allow MNOs to bring new products to market quickly
With 7 billion global mobile service subscribers to cater to, MNOs
handle trillions of calls, messages, and data sessions, often using
outdated and inflexible technology
DIADEM will use cutting-edge blockchain technology to provide a
secure and de-centralised architecture that will meet growing
need to offer more varied products and a more fulfilling and
immediate user experience for today’s subscribers

makes the rapid growth model a
necessity, but this creates problems in
increased scaling difficulty.

The SolutionThe Solution

Blockchain networks are distributed across a broad series of
computer nodes which can keep the system running even as it is
being maintained, leading to reduced or eliminated downtime.
 
Self-executing, autonomous computer programs called smart
contracts provide a previously unheard of level of contract speed
and flexibility, allowing for MNOs to keep pace with market
demand while the automation greatly reduces overhead costs.
 
Users will be able to view their own contracts on the blockchain
and pay bills instantly in an easy-to-use app which eliminates

The competitive nature of the industry makes the rapid growth model a necessity, but this creates problems in increased scaling difficulty. Business support systems need to be maintained and developed to accommodate for more users, which often results in downtime during a crucial stage of subscriber attraction.
