This document summarizes a study measuring compliance to the DASH diet for lowering blood pressure. The study participant tracked their blood pressure, heart rate, and adherence to the DASH diet over multiple days while following their regular diet and the DASH diet. Results showed lower average blood pressure and higher adherence when following the DASH diet compared to their regular diet. The participant concluded that the DASH diet was effective for managing their blood pressure but noted weaknesses in the study design and opportunities to improve the DASH diet recommendations.
