Pricing structure
❖ Cloud extensions for ROS: Standard AWS service charge when the application
utilizes an AWS service through a cloud extension.
❖ Development environment: Customers pay only for underlying compute and
storage resources (e.g., EC2 instance and EBS volume).
❖ Simulation: Pricing is based on resource consumption, measured as “Simulation
Units,” metered at minute granularity. Each unit is composed of 1 vCPU and 2-
GB RAM and charged at $0.4 per hour.
❖ Fleet management: Customers pay for AWS IoT Greengrass resources at the
standard price of $0.16 per active robot (device) per month.
