I have a grown up surrounded by the bookkeeping, accounting, and tax preparation professions, as
my father has held his CPA for nearly 40 years and my parents operate two successful income tax

If the construct is culture or time bound, that means that it may be inappropriate for the particular
culture as well as the time period in question. In the sociology literature Hage (1972) suggested that
such theoretical concepts as bureaucracy were either culture or time bound whereas the construct
degree of complexity was not likely to be time or culture bound. The second issue deals with the
operational definition of the theoretical concept. The question becomes do the indicators have
meaning to the respondent in light of culture and time. In other words, is this how the respondent
defines the construct in their own mind Just because a sentence or idea translates from one

even among different people from the same culture. Personal construct theory provides some

In a global economy, U.S. companies are becoming more diverse, whether through a global
customer base, or through acquisition of other companies based outside of the U.S. With these
developments the workplace becomes an amalgamation of individuals with different worldviews.

Though there are sometimes impediments that are created due to a conflict in viewpoints,

The belief that the family structure and parenting practices have morally declined can be traced

large part of education today. News shows in multiple states have shown students protesting these
new standards by skipping classes and school all together. These actions obviously show their
refusal to work with the new standards. While there are many teachers who are happy with these
standards, students still need to be convinced, and teachers can help this by supporting Common
