How It Works
Automated Crash Notification (ACN), or automated First Notice of Loss (FNOL) requires a telemetry system
on the car fulltime. In addition, real time analysis of the consequences of the crash event requires additional,
server located, expert software layers . Crashboxx Telematics offers its partners each element in the system
to deliver best in class, real time crash reporting and analysis.
1.

The CB 3000, OBD II mounted telematics control module (a.k.a. dongle) with crash algorithm

2.

Network connectivity via the integrated 3G GSM modem delivering real time M2M delivery of event reports direct to the User’s smartphone and PC

3.

Server mounted expert crash reporting and analysis software applications;





SMS and/or Email reporting engine near real time alerts, automating FNOL
DENT (Damage Estimates in near Real Time ) Predictive analytics to generate preliminary estimates of the cost repair of the car. Determine total loss in seconds. Improve triage.
BITE (Bodily Injury & Trauma Expert) . Predictive analytics to generate preliminary estimates of the probability of bodily injury (BI) sustained in crashes. Reduce fraud.
