Sole Proprietorship
1. A business enterprise is an Organisation which carries on business activities.
2. Business adopt some form to perform these activities
3. Sole Proprietorship is a popular form of business organization.
4. Sole Proprietorship is most suitable for small business in there initial years of operation.
5. A business concern owned an managed by a single person is known as Sole
Proprietorship.
6. Sole Proprietorship is also called sole trader, one man business,
7. Sole Proprietorship is also called individual enterprenurship or individual proprietorship.
8. Sole proprietorship is a form of business organization which is owned, managed and
controlled by an individual who is the recipient of all profit and bearer of all risks.

After the continue class room practice, the teacher begins the class with a
story. Anjali, a bright final year degree student waiting for her results to be
declared. While at home she decided to put her free time to use. Having an
aptitude for painting, she tried her hand at decorating clay pot and bowls will
designs. She was excited at the precise showered on her by her friends and
happy on her work. She gained a lot of popularity by word, of mouth
publicity as a single person caused out the business and gaining profits.
