The impact that the album cover has is that it is an American band, the genre appears to be folk. From the cover I think that the male is JP Harris, and the trucks in the background could represent the rest of the band. The long beard links in with folk and hillbilly genre. The way the male in the photo is dressed shows that he isn’t very neat, this also links in with the back ground. The background looks like a scrap yard which could be the reason he looks scruffy. This could again relate back to the scrap yard on the front cover Having the song list of an album is a convention of a album cover, it is expected to be there. The telephone appears on the front cover as well as the back, the phone on the front is held u to the males face, whereas here the phone has been left dangling. The bands Record label Album cover name appears again All of the songs featuring on the album were written by J.P. Harris who is apart of the band.
