Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, I think technology is amazing and we have proven that we can do amazing things with computers. From quickly
looking up information, to talking to someone across the country, to performing surgery.
We are so dependent on computers now that we are no longer teaching cursive writing. Here is KY it is considered an "outdated" form of
communication. How will these younger generations read the "Declaration of Independence?" Of course, on a computer, but does it give the same
meaning? I do teach both of my daughters cursive handwriting, but that doesn't mean everyone does.

Starting from an early age, people depend on software. Children sit in their car seat and ask for mommy's tablet to play games; often times children

Are we to dependent on computers the question can be answered many different ways but in today's world we use a computer for many different things
from playing video games which can be addictive and chatting which can be addictive as well people are spending more and more time on the
computer and less time socializing in person. Dependency for computers has grown from all ages and every type of business.
Another problem with computers is when a person's interest in computers goes to the extreme and becomes an obsession. Computers make our lives
very easy and give us many ways to learn about the things we have an interest in.
Computers make it so we can to do various things from the comfort of our own home –
People shop online, contact family and friends online, and go to school online. It's easy to save and manage information and entertain ourselves with a
variety of games.
People can get caught up in computers so much that they forget to socialize out of the computer world. People become addicted to chatting online in
various chat rooms and they become addicted to various websites such as face book, my space and twitter. As we grow more and more dependent on
computers we are so quick to purchase items online placing our personal information such as our name, address credit card information and whatever

Society's Dependency On Technology
Today, technology is a ruling factor among our society.
Technology is involved in every aspect of our lives.
Our dependence on technology has been taken to a whole other level, we are now incredibly dependent on technology.
We may be too dependent on technology, but our dependence does not necessarily impact us in negative ways. II. Some say the increasing need for
technology, specifically social media, causes social isolation. Since so much time is spent on technology, these days, people tend to forget about the
outside world around them (Ramey).
"Americans aged 18 and older spend more than 11 hours a day watching TV, listening to the radio or using smartphones and other electronic devices"
(Richter). B. However, communication has been greatly improved by advancing technology.
Because of technology, it has become more convenient to communicate with those we desire to speak with much more often ("Benefits of Technology").
"Modern technology has made it simple to discover our old friends and discover new people to network with [through social media]" (Ramey).
