PowerPoint has been the dominant presentation software for over 20 years, but new technologies are emerging and the environment is changing rapidly. Presentation design is still typically an afterthought for many presenters. However, there is an opportunity to better align the value of design work by listening closely to client needs and audiences, and showing how presentations can be better integrated into overall marketing strategies across multiple channels. Proactively keeping up with shifts in the industry allows for being seen as the expert who can help clients inspire their audiences through customized, yet consistent multimedia presentations.
