On Understanding Data Scientists
Data is everywhere and in everything we do. Most of the time, usable information is hidden in raw data and because of that, there is an increasing demand for people capable of working creatively with it. To fully understand how we can assist data science workers to become more productive in their jobs, we first need to understand who they are, how they work, what are the skills they hold and lack, and which tools they need. In this paper, we present the results of the analysis of several interviews conducted with data scientists. Our research allowed us to conclude that the heterogeneity between these professionals is still understudied, which makes the development of methodologies and tools more challenging and error prone. The results of this research are particularly useful for both the scientific community and industry to propose adequate solutions for these professionals.

1. Learning by Doing
Learning by doing refers to a theory of education expounded by American philosopher John Dewey. It is a hands-on approach to learning, meaning students must interact with their environment in order to adapt and learn. This way of learning sharpen your current skills and knowledge and also helps in gaining new skills that could only be acquired by doing.
Car driving is a perfect example of this, you can read as much as you would like about the theory of driving and the rules, and this is very important, and the more you understand the theory the better you get in the practical part. But you will only be able to drive better by applying this knowledge on the real road. In addition to that, there are some skills and knowledge that will be only gained by actually driving.
Data science is the same as driving. It is very important to have solid theoretical knowledge and to regularly increase them to be able to get better while working on a project. However, you should always apply this theoretical knowledge to projects. By this, you will deepen your understanding of these concepts and Knowledge, have a better point of view of how they work in a real-life, and will also show others that you have strong theoretical knowledge and are able to put them into practice.

Learning by doing refers to a theory of education expounded by American philosopher John Dewey. It is a hands-on approach to learning, meaning students must interact with their environment in order to adapt and learn. This way of learning sharpen your current skills and knowledge and also helps in gaining new skills that could only be acquired by doing.
Car driving is a perfect example of this, you can read as much as you would like about the theory of driving and the rules, and this is very important, and the more you understand the theory the better you get in the practical part. But you will only be able to drive better by applying this knowledge on the real road. In addition to that, there are some skills and knowledge that will be only gained by actually driving.
Data science is the same as driving. It is very important to have solid theoretical knowledge and to regularly increase them to be able to get better while working on a project. However, you should always apply this theoretical knowledge to projects. Medical image analysis has witnessed significant advancements with deep learning techniques. In the domain of brain tumor segmentation, the ability to
precisely delineate tumor boundaries from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
scans holds profound implications for diagnosis. This study presents an ensemble convolutional neural network (CNN) with transfer learning, integrating
the state-of-the-art Deeplabv3+ architecture with the ResNet18 backbone. The
model is rigorously trained and evaluated, exhibiting remarkable performance
metrics, including an impressive global accuracy of 99.286%, a high-class accuracy of 82.191%, a mean intersection over union (IoU) of 79.900%, a weighted
IoU of 98.620%, and a Boundary F1 (BF) score of 83.303%. Notably, a detailed comparative analysis with existing methods showcases the superiority of
our proposed model. These findings underscore the model’s competence in precise brain tumor localization, underscoring its potential to revolutionize medical
image analysis and enhance healthcare outcomes. This research paves the way
for future exploration and optimization of advanced CNN models in medical
imaging, emphasizing addressing false positives and resource efficiency.

Advanced control scheme of doubly fed induction generator for wind turbine us...
This paper describes a speed control device for generating electrical energy on an electricity network based on the doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) used for wind power conversion systems. At first, a double-fed induction generator model was constructed. A control law is formulated to govern the flow of energy between the stator of a DFIG and the energy network using three types of controllers: proportional integral (PI), sliding mode controller (SMC) and second order sliding mode controller (SOSMC). Their different results in terms of power reference tracking, reaction to unexpected speed fluctuations, sensitivity to perturbations, and resilience against machine parameter alterations are compared. MATLAB/Simulink was used to conduct the simulations for the preceding study. Multiple simulations have shown very satisfying results, and the investigations demonstrate the efficacy and power-enhancing capabilities of the suggested control system.
