In this paper, we propose a methodology to manage the IT
Infrastructure in a better way. Our methodology uses the tree-
structure based architecture to manage the infrastructure with less
manual power. The process of how to manage the infrastructure is
discussed with efficient methodology and necessary steps with
algorithm, in this paper. Also, in this paper, the process of workflow
management on IT infrastructure management has been provided.

It would consolidate duplicate services across the campus into a single, integrated system providing directory services, identity management, email, calendaring, VoIP, and more. Implementing this solution based on principles of flexibility, interoperability, and security could eliminate costs of running separate systems in individual units and provide improved collaboration tools for students, faculty and staff.
Information Intendance System on Cloud
This document proposes a community cloud service called Campus Cloud that would provide both academic and non-academic institutions with services like a centralized platform for publicity, a customized website and mobile app, and a cloud-based institute management system. Currently available management systems are expensive and difficult to maintain. Campus Cloud aims to reduce costs and improve remote access. It would allow institutions and students to interact more easily. The proposed system describes modules for public interaction, an admin panel for management tasks, a personalized website, and a mobile app to improve communication. Campus Cloud could help institutions adopt new technologies with minimal disruption compared to traditional enterprise software.

The implementation of enterprise systems brings with it great promise of better information, consistent systems, and reduced operational costs. Achieving that promise, however, is an immense challenge.

An experience based evaluation process for erp
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems integrate information across an entire organization that
automate core activities such as finance/accounting, human resources, manufacturing, production and
supply chain management… etc. to facilitate an integrated centralized system and rapid decision making–
resulting in cost reduction, greater planning, and increased control. Many organizations are updating their
current management information systems with ERP systems. This is not a trivial task. They have to identify
the organization’s objectives and satisfy a myriad of stakeholders. They have to understand what business
processes they have, how they can be improved, and what particular systems would best suit their needs.
They have to understand how an ERP system is built; it involves the modification of an existing system with
its own set of business rules. Deciding what to ask for and how to select the best option is a very complex
operation and there is limited experience with this type of contracting in organizations. In this paper we
discuss a particular experience with contracting out an ERP system, provide some lessons learned, and
offer suggestions in how the RFP and bid selection processes could have been improved.

DDS Best Practices
This whitepaper focuses on “real-world” systems, that is, systems that interact with the external physical world and must live within the constraints imposed by real-world physics. Good examples include air-traffic control systems, real-time stock trading, command and control (C2) systems, unmanned vehicles, robotic and vetronics, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
More and more these “real-world” systems are integrated using a Data-Centric Publish- Subscribe approach, specifically the programming model defined by the Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution Service (DDS) specification.
This whitepaper describes the basic characteristics of real-world systems programming, reasons why DDS is the best standard middleware technology to use to integrate these systems, and a set of “best practices” guidelines that should be applied when using DDS to implement these systems.

An executive information system (EIS) is a type of management information system that provides easy access to internal and external information relevant to helping senior executives meet strategic goals. EIS target the quick assessment of business status and focus on aiding executive decision making. They integrate data from various sources and emphasize easy-to-use interfaces and reporting/data mining capabilities. Successful EIS implementations involve establishing a cross-functional project team, delivering a simple initial prototype, gaining executive sponsorship, and involving the information systems department.

Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.

Operational Complexity ─ The CIT Identity Management Staff will now be responsible for all AD administration of domain controllers and all Active Directory functionality (mainly security related). Organizational Unit (OU) Administration delegation is in place to allow individual IT groups across the University to manage their own OU infrastructure relating to User/Group administration as well as rights/permissions to resources. Enterprise Applications- Schema Extensions, LDAP authentication, etc. will all occur under this centralized Active Directory environment. More design and policy creation may be required to produce a uniform way of Enterprise Applications existence in this environment. Agility - Growth and restructuring are part of normal operations for Cornell University. The IT infrastructure needs to handle these events as a more natural part of the IT ecosystem instead of as a major exception to the IT operations. Organizational restructuring should not alter the structure of the directory service.
