36 completed my questionnaire about gamming- When I asked question one 'gender' it came back that the
majority of my answers were female (23/63.8%) meaning 13 of witch I asked were male (36.1%). Question two
was 'age'. I asked a range of different ages to try and make it accrete 14 of the 36 responses were ages 16-20. 11
of the 36 responses were over 30 this already tells us that not only the younger generation play on games like
most would expect.

favorite game to
play on?
When the question was asked what is your favorite video game to play on the results came back as a massive mix,
I think this is because when asking I didn’t have options meaning you had the option to type in any game. As you
can see in the screenshots down in the bottom corner I selected 5 random individual answers to this question all 5
answers are different showing how much of a range of answers I came back with.

4. What do you play
the game on?
more than half of the responses of my questionnaire said they play there games on a mobile/tablet device, The
reason for this being is that when out and about they can play on the game and don’t need to wait till sat at home
for example waiting fort he xbox to be turned on. Some games what people answered for being there favorited
can only be bought on mobile /tablet devices this shows how quick the gamming companies are moving.

The answers to the question really emphasised the way
media institutions have grown, Computer games used to
be only at the arcade with a maximum of 2 players you
would see lines and lines of people waiting for hours to
play on the not only the new games but also the old.
Where as now that is unheard of and the game is
delivered to you, so can be played when ever and

5. Why do you play on
the games you do?
The photos shown on the slide are only a few of the answers, as you can see all the answers are similar "everyone
does" or "my friends" or "top of the charts" these answers suggest that everyone is influenced by what the
surroundings are doing. Find out the name of the theorist that says you are influenced
