logistics and transport managers of major multi million dollar accounts.

Worked directly with operations and sales, to establish a cost factor for these accounts.
Worked on accounts that had generated sales revenues in excess of $1,000,000.00 per year.
Assisted in the purchase of partner carrier by performing a study of their tariff and revenue structures.

Various Positions
Started with this company as Warehouse Shift Foreman in Moncton, New Brunswick.
I started in July of 1981 in the Rate Department, working the evening shift, putting the proper
transportation rates on the individual shipments.
Over the next 8 years, through various promotions, I was made the Assistant Supervisor of the Rates
Department, in charge of the evening shift. I also was in charge of training all new staff coming into
the department.
In May of 1989, I was promoted to work in the Maritime Regional Office as the new Traffic Analyst. I
reported directly to the Regional Traffic Manager. This is where I obtained all my experience and
knowledge of budgets, costs and cost structures.
In October of 1992, in the restructuring of the company, I became the Pricing Officer in charge of the
Maritime Region. During the next 5 years, I had a hand in the development of most procedures, which
are still in use today, in the Pricing Department. The most significant development was, the cost
format structure that I had developed to speed up single and multiple lane costing.
