The Cycling Liaison Group discussed progress on developing the borough's Cycling Strategy and Quietways network, with consultation planned for spring 2015 after elections. The 2015/2016 Cycling Programme was presented, including improvements to existing cycle routes, new Quietways, cycle parking and training. Updates were provided on cycle parking standards review and potential sites for new parking. A review of the council's cycling webpages was also discussed, with proposals for restructuring content to provide information on plans and policies, advice for cyclists, support for schools and businesses, and notifications of events.
