Skills and professional experience gained:
Preparation, developing and analyzing of monthly, quarterly and yearly supplier quality performance
data/chart/graph and schedule audit/visit to improve supplier quality performance. Ensure all suppliers
(local machining suppliers, local special process suppliers, overseas machining suppliers) are complies
in accordance with UTC quality assurance requirement.
Implementation First Article submission route and document package. Administer and lead related
parties on the implementation, provide guidance on how to analyze the route and preparation of
document package which in line with AS9100C and UTC ASQR requirement.
Preparation, manage and in-charge of quality section of pioneer Outsource projects in UTAS
Singapore such as discussion on part manufacturing process, advise on inspection method used and
provide ACE and Quality tools to support supplier on performance development. Handle and analyze
Non-conformance report, have full authority to dispose the rejection cause by outsource vendor. Review
and advice vendor on rework process and assist on root cause identify.
Selected and participate in Internal Auditor training program. Certified by Plexus International in 2014
and DNV in 2012 as an internal auditor on AS9100 standard. Perform internal auditing to company and
external auditing to all outsource vendors annually.
Selected and participate in UTC playbook Chapter 8: Supplier Development Management.
Communicate with supplier on part process schedule and engineering discussion. Preparation and
issuing Corrective Action Report (CAR) and Quality Note (QN) to vendor for root cause analysis,
corrective action and preventive action. Liaise, review and advice on the CAR/QN submission date and
effectiveness of proposed corrective and preventive actions. Ensure and review internal or external
non-conformance tag and component part rejection within turn around one day.

Liaise with senior manager, managers, engineers and supervisors in different department different plant
and site which relates with outsource project. Coordinate and communicate with different departments
colleagues on suppliers’ parts collection or delivery when outsource related.
Manage and in-charge of quality section in Assembly/Actuation Cell, dealing with internal and
external customer request such as FAI, Delta-FAI, Customer Return & Customer Audit. Coordinate
and communicate with internal and external oversea suppliers for component purchase and return.
Supervise 15 quality inspectors in Assembly/Actuation Cell, UTAS Bedok Plant 3 & Wolverhampton
Cell. Coordinate quality inspectors’ schedule and work time to ensure even work load and sufficient
support to production line.
Lead and participate in UTAS Lean Transformation RRCA team for Assembly/Actuation Cell
