108-EMAS:
• It is one of the premier projects of Govt. of Odisha. Launched on 5th
March, 2013
by The Hon’ble CM. Pre-launch was the most difficult period due to lack of project
knowledge, huge manpower recruitment, office/control room setup, 420
Ambulance vehicles procurement, fabrication & documentation.
• Operations being the core dept., co-ordination with other depts. namely HR,
Control room (CDC), R&M, A/c, MIS, IT, Quality, Inventory, Marketing, is an
essential KRA.
• I was at the core of activities being the first & only Operations Manager (Ops Mgr)
during launch time. Strategy formation to avoid penalty & process refinement of all
depts. were main challenges.
• Planned more than 50% district launches for 108 as well as 102 (24X7 Referral
Transport System, previously known as JSSK)
• Grievance handling & HR Compliance is a major activity due to huge manpower on
field.
• Successfully handled Crew agitation after 2.5yrs of operation; which consisted of
Worker Union formation, Work stoppage due to strike etc.
• Successfully handled Nabakalebar Rath Yatra of Lord Jaggannath at Puri which
attracted more than 15 lakh devotees.
2. Core KRA:
1. Ensuring uninterrupted "108 Emergency Medical Ambulance Service" to public at large,
24X7.
2. Ensuring proper & timely reporting from District Managers.
3. Managing FieldStaff unrest by ensuring adherence to Statutory LabourLaws & timely
grievance handling.
4. Getting the works done by other depts. by ensuring proper coordination & strong
follow-up.
2. NOV 2011 till NOV 2012: State Coordinator, SECC, KDMSL
Job Details:
• SECC – Socio Economic Caste Census, Under PR Dept., MoRD
• KDMSL – Karvy Data Management Services Ltd., Hyderabad
SECC, Uttar Pradesh:
• On deputation from SECC, Odisha to Lucknow, then to Gorakhpur district to resolve
some pending issues like technical, MIS, payment, coordination with Govt. & local
vendors etc.
• Visited all Charge Centers & resolved all pending technical issues & MIS
discrepancy with the help of my IT team.
SECC, Odisha:
• 10 out of 30 Districts of Odisha were allotted with approx 1.6 Crore Population.
• Approx 10000 contractual manpower was engaged for 3-6 months.
• District wise Vendor selection for manpower sourcing.
• Dist. Coordinator, IT Coordinator, Master Trainer Recruitment & their Training.
• Liaising and maintaining good relationship with State/District level Client officials
and State/District/Block level Govt. officers for various operational issues.
• Setting up Charge Centers at the Block level and following up with the concerned
officers for providing proper infrastructure.
• Coordination with Vendors and our Dist. level staff for meeting the deadlines in
time, set up by the client.
• Supervising the daily MIS.
• Attending Review meetings.
• Supervising timely and proper salary distribution to all manpower.
• Providing necessary data to HO for raising the bills to the client in time.
Challenges:
• New of its kind project. Even client did not have A-Z knowledge of the project.
• Always difficult to work with the ground/Block level officials due to their ignorance
of the project, pre-occupation with their regular work and non-cooperation.
• Retaining manpower for a short term project and motivating them to work in
adverse conditions.
• Extensive touring away from home for long durations.
3. 3. DEC 2010 to OCT 2011: Manager, UID, SSEVL

• Liaison with State/District Govt. Nodal Agency/officials regarding support for
Enrolment Centre locating, awareness creation and security in Enrolment Centre.
• Liaison with Registrar to seek support from concerned Govt. agencies for
Enrolment Centre locating, awareness creation and security in Enrolment Centre.
• Supervising and helping vendor for all kinds of support required to carry out
ground level operation.
• Sending updated daily MIS.
• Enrolment Centre locate and roll out.
• Obtaining permission for Enrolment Centre setup & awareness.
• Planning for awareness & Pre-enrolment drive to increase daily enrolment.
• Random visit to Enrolment Centers to evaluate ground operations.
• Communicating with UID Tech Support regarding various issues.

Achievements:
• Inaugurating & Starting UID enrolment first time in Odisha in Bhubaneswar despite
lack of support from Govt. and Registrar.
• Completing more than 1lakh enrolments in 3months.
• Implementing & managing 100 Enrolment Stations on field in 4months.
4. DEC 2008 to DEC 2010: Manager, District Operations, NeGP, SSEVL
