PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a motivated, diverse and responsible individual seeking an opportunity to be able to extend my knowledge
further in the ICT Sector. Previous knowledge related to software programming network infrastructure and
website designs have been acquired with the aspirations of developing further on my skills. I am extremely
organised as I follow a logical approach to my work even under pressure. Being goal driven and committed are
key skills that I possess which drive me to achieve the best possible outcome.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Computing Support Tutor – HND Year 1 – (October 2011 – May 2012) Chichester College.
 Assisting the tutor with teaching SQL Databases, Programming languages such as C#, and Object
Orientated Programming and Website Design using HTML5 and CSS3 with JavaScript.
 Understanding individual student learning procedures and applying diversity in the teaching methods
that I supply to them, as some students learn at different paces and in different ways.
 Researching course related subjects to aid the students in their work and presenting this to the group
via presentations.

CURRENT OCCUPATION
2015 – Current – Application Developer for WSCC
My current role is in a small team of Applications Specialists, developing and configuring the Frameworki social
care system in the Adults and Children’s sector for West Sussex County Council. The key responsibilities of this
role involved taking control of all facets of system application development lifecycle. This covers specifying
requirements, designing and building case management systems which included the creation of front end
applications and JavaScript, as well as application testing with 2nd and 3rd level support. This role requires a
methodical approach and excellent attention to detail. Additionally, this role also combines extensive project
planning and timescale management, ranging from simple to large complex projects working both solely and
within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills attained in order to interact effectively with clients and
colleagues. This is to ensure the ability to build effective requirements in order to deliver solutions that are
comprehensive and robust. Support for systems such as early years and education applied by liaising closely
with suppliers on technical matters to resolve defects.
PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT
2007 and 2012 – Subway Store Manager.
Responsibilities include Managing and training a large team of staff members, making sure they are motivated
and work in an efficient and timely manner. Accounting skills for inventory and capital have been attained
therefore used on a daily basis. Excellent at resolving consumer issues in an empathetic logical and courteous
manner in addition to interacting with the general public, hence obtaining outstanding communication skills.
Subway food hygiene and safety course completed to the highest level with maximum marks. Programming and
rearrangement of the GUI for the POS system performed regularly as the menu is remodelled on a monthly
basis.
PERSONAL INTRESTS
In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and making new ones. I am very family orientated and love to
spend time with my daughter playing games such as tennis, football, board games swimming canoeing etc.
Music is an interest of mine as I enjoy a variety of music in different languages as I speak 3 languages myself. I
thoroughly enjoy painting when I do have time to do so and I enjoy computers in general, this consists of
learning new ways in which to broaden my knowledge on the different aspects of them. My main interest is
Website creation which I like to experiment with, this includes coding and creating graphics to compliment my
designs. Database is another passion of mine as I understood the concept very well and thoroughly enjoyed
working with SQL and being able to create my own information in conjunction with other programs to create
websites.
