accounts payables duties utilizing ACMS software, Excel, and WORD. Duties includes preparing
profit/loss statements; reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to
balances, charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports;
recording entries, paying vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; scheduling and preparing
checks; and maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
2014-2015: Computer Science Instructor, Gwinnett County School, Shiloh High School, Snellville,
GA 30039. Developed and planned lessons for Introduction to Digital Technology course.
1993 to 2013: Career and Technology Educator, Richland School District Two, Spring Valley High

 Instrumental in the creation of an articulation between Midlands Technical College, CSI, Inc.
(insurance software business), Richland School District Two, and Spring Valley High School. The
Two-Plus-Two program allowed 10th
graders interested in the field of computer science to take
college courses for dual credit.
 Consultant. Presented at various high schools in-and out-of-state on strategies for teaching on
the 90-minute block and successful implementation of four-by-four block scheduling.

2006- 2013: Virtual Instructor, Richland School District Two (P/T), Columbia, SC. Provided on-line,
standard based instruction for high school students in the following courses: Introduction to Technology,
Keyboarding, Study Skills, and Business Protocol.

 Served on a team to re-write the district’s on-line keyboarding curriculum.
 Provided students with the opportunity to participate in a rigorous program of study geared to
raise student achievement.
June – September 2010: Adjunct Instructor, Virginia College Online (P/T), Virginia College,
Business Administration Program; Birmingham, Alabama. Taught two sections of the course Word
Processing I using the E-college platform and several other software programs to improve student
performance.

 Completed the course “Online Teaching” and other on-line training classes on software used in
the course to assist in student mastery of word processing skills.

Access; File Management, and Introduction to Computers classes for teachers, staff, and community
