Supporting the Chip and PIN Card Reader Rollout
 Supporting all aspects of the rollout of Ingenico Chip and PIN card readers across the whole of
Travis Perkins and associated brands including:
o Creating an accurate store list (around 2000 stores) across all brands from a limited
starting point.
o Contacting branches to confirm their specific requirements for the new card readers.
o Liaising with a third party installation company regarding upcoming installations and
supporting their engineers while in the field. Remote installation of software if required.
o Witnessing and recording pilot installations across the country.
o Switching branches from the old system to the new one and early life support for them.
o Liaising with the transaction processing company and setting up branches not already
registered. Getting merchant ID data and other store specific data for this process.
o Remote correction of setups for the new card readers and installation of corrective
programmes for issues arising.
o Creating bespoke reports as dictated by the current status of the project and the needs
of the Project Manager. Being the eyes and ears of the Project Manager when he is off
site.
Supporting the Rollout of Motorola Moto G Mobile Phones
 Assisting users who have issues accessing Chrome via normal methods
 All aspects of user support including;
o Confirming requirement of upgrade
o Confirming user details with Vodafone

o Sending communications to users regarding delivery dates and SIM auto-activation.
o Helping users with transferring of data via Google accounts from old to new phones.
o Requesting the return of old phones for batching to Vodafone.
 Completing and updating database for Vodafone batch despatch, recording user status with
regard to which phone they have and if they have upgraded or not and if they have returned
their old phone.
 Building of PC and Laptop software profiles
 Google Chrome use via standard access methods rather than via Citrix
