Hired by Global Process Systems Pte Ltd and assigned to work in Batam Indonesia for construction and pre-
commissioning works of FPSO Coogee Montara topsides modularize projects.

Global Process Systems Pte Ltd caters the up and mid stream oil and gas projects. It specializes in build operate and
transfer (BOT) projects entailing the complete refurbishment and commissioning of oil and gas rigs for live
operations. Current projects include BOT for Santos, Petrofac and Murphy Oil Company in Indonesia and Malaysia
involving the complete procurement and commissioning of process equipment and facilities for Mobile Operating
Petroleum Unit (MOPU) operational oil and gas rigs. In addition, GPS was involved in Montara field development
for Tanker Pacific as well as other projects for Prosafe, MOL Hungry, SBM, Murphy oil and others.
 Coordinate and supervised construction team during installation of FPSO topsides modularize mechanical
packages/equipments such as Solar Turbine Mars 100 gas turbine mechanical drive for MAN Turbo
reinjection compressor, Solar Turbine Taurus 60 gas turbine driven generator set, pressurize vessels, heat
exchangers and pumps.
 Coordinate and planned on Solar Turbine and MAN TURBO gas compressor vendor representative site
installation activities such as:
- Inventory check of Solar and MAN turbo items by comparing the packing list to the shipping bill
attached to each shipping crate. Make a document on any discrepancies or damaged found to any parts.
- Summarize foundation criteria and acceptable methods of attaching turbine packages to a foundation
prior package deck mounting pads machining and flatness measurement coplanar to each mounting.
- Prepare sequential assembly schedule activities of solar turbine package such as mounting of AVM,
loading package sub skid, establish vertical elevation intended for package sub skid leveling, loading
of package, final leveling of package by shimming.
- Final settings of package AVM uplift snubbers.
- Prepare schedule activities for its Solar and MAN turbo ancillary equipment loading installation.
- Verify correct and complete installation of turbine intake and exhaust ducting.
- Assist vendor representative during drive train alignment from gearbox to HP compressor and HP to
LP compressor as well as from gearbox to solar turbine side.
- Alignment of process gas lines nozzles with respect to compressor nozzles.
- Verification of installation integrity of all external piping connection to solar package and MAN turbo
compressor skid ensuring acceptable pipe stress occurrence only.
- Ensure installation integrity of fire suppression system.
 Performed installation inspection on all topside pressurize vessels prior to client’s representative
acceptance such as:
- Checked equipment nameplate for specification and verify internal component identity against those
indicated on the maker’s installation of drawings.
- Checked correct installations of internal (gaskets, flanges, bolts and pipe supports) have been
completed as per maker’s installation drawings.
- Checked surface internal cleanliness free from any debris prior final closing of end caps or manholes.
- Checked all fixed holding down bolts torque tightening to its specification are completed and sliding
holding bolts are flog tight only according to engineering practice.
- Checked adequate space is allowed for maintenance of internal components removal.
- Verification of all related external connecting pipes are constructed according to latest P&ID and all
instruments, orifice plates, valves and other devices defined on drawing have been installed properly.
 Performed installation inspection of all rotating pumps such as:
- Verification of installation integrity of all discharge and suction pipes connection to ensure only
acceptable pipe stress occurrence on pumps mating flanges.
- Checked all pipe supports in way of discharge and suction pipes have been completed and correct
gaskets and bolts installed as per latest P&ID.
- Checked holding down bolts torque tightening to its specification is completed.
- Pre-alignment check by using laser prior module load out.
- Final alignment check by using laser after module installation of FPSO vessel.
 Performed installation inspection of all heat exchangers such as:
- Checked equipment nameplate for specification and verify component identity against those indicated
on the maker’s installation drawings.
- Checked correct gaskets and bolts installed on heat exchangers nozzles as per latest ISO drawings.
- Checked holding down bolts torque tightening to its specification is completed.

- Verification of all related external connecting pipes are constructed according to latest P&ID and all
instruments, orifice plates, valves and other devices defined on drawing have been installed properly.
 Progress monitoring and weekly reporting directly to hook up and commissioning manager pertaining on
mechanical completion works update.
 Prepared punch lists as per client’s remarks and/or if the installation requirements are deviated and
materials are not complying within the project requirement.
 Responsible for clearing mechanical punch list registered in project tools based on priority system
schedule.

Cebu.

start test, air bottle charging test and safety valves popping test.
- Performed main generator (Yanmar/Daihatsu) running test which cover safety device function test,
