JOB DESCRIPTION :
Inspect Hazardous areas, where classified as Zones, class/division, groups/subgroups
and its requirements of equipment protection levels by ATEX category and IEC EPL. Inspection
of protection methods for electrical equipment’s and intensically safe installations as entity
concept, according to area classification and its integrity after installation, at different stages
like initial, commissioning and periodic maintenance.
Following Activities pertaining to FPSO E&I –Top Side Module construction consisting of Cabling
& tray work, Panel installation, lighting system, F&G, process instrumentation, process tubing,
PAGA, Heat Tracing.
• Follow up of deliverables in time and coordinating between client engineering and in-
house engineering team.
• Monitoring the progress in line with the construction schedule and corrective action
against any deviation.
• MTO generation and initiating procurement action by raising Purchase request on time.
• Mediating with vendors, client and engineering regarding material procurement issues.
• Raising site queries & resolutions.
• Interaction with clients for resolution of construction issues & site approvals.
• Sub-contractor management and resolving site issues. Day to day micro planning and
monitoring of the progress and corrective actions whenever necessary.
• Ensuring safe work procedures and (PTW) Permit to work system.
• Presenting in VSCC meeting and ensuring proper site intra- discipline co-ordination.
