PERSONAL STATEMENT
An experienced professional passionate about all areas of manufacturing and quality of manufacturing systems, with
high knowledge in statistics. Work committed, responsible and capable of taking on a manufacturing project from
concept to completion. Possesses natural leadership qualities and always looking to foment positive relationships
with both clients and internal stakeholders. Previous academic and work experience has enabled the development
of outstanding communication skills with fluency English. The major part of the background is focused in the
development of manufacturing lines for medical devices, but also in the industrial segment.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• Recognised for exceeding performance expectations, increasing a RTY from 75% to 97% and promoted to
Lead Quality Engineer in 2016.
• Received Flextronics merit award in 2015 for excellence in KOIs.
• Awarded “Outstanding performance” recognition by Johnson and Johnson (customer) in 2016 for closing
more than 70% of deliverables in first two months.

CAREER HISTORY
Flextronics: Aguascalientes, Mexico – Lead Product Quality Engineer (May 2015 - September 2016).
Flextronics delivers superior performance and results for customers through an extensive network of design,
engineering, manufacturing, and logistics facilities in more than 100 locations across 30 countries.
• Created and actively participated in new projects developments, from quotation and feasibility towards to
validation and mass production, increasing assets in more than $4MM USD per month.
• Spearheaded groups of quality technicians and inspectors, providing training sessions and directed
administrative duties and records management.
• Led a 10-member team to launch new product lines with projected annual sales of $120MM under strict time
constrains through accelerated product development.
• Constructed solid and concise quality documentation, based on FDA and ISO13485 standards, such as:
quality plans, control plans, reaction plans, Six sigma methodology and SPC strategies.
• Achieved a customer satisfaction score card level of 5/5 during 2 consecutive years.

2. • Conducted both external and internal audits, including “Mock audits” (FDA), ensured a positive feedback and
customer retention.
• Designed, built and analysed different kind of statistical studies such as: stuck / tolerance analysis,
correlation analysis, DOE’s and MSA, among others.
Flextronics: Aguascalientes, Mexico – Manufacturing Engineer (October 2013 - May 2015).
• Carry through validation processes (IQ, OQ, PQ) for the development of manufacturing lines for medical
devices, based on regulation authorities.
• Designed and scheduled Gemba walks through medical lines to ensure 5s and opportunity areas.
• Participated in 2 Kaizens: KTE Implementation (designed a method to supply raw materials in exacted kits
from warehouse towards to Final Assembly line), Line balance (Micro activities concept applied to obtain a
higher product rate).
• Provided training for manufacturing operators, interns and new hires, ensured every operator developed
appropriate skills and knowledge to executed functions properly.
• Failure mode analysis and CTQ identification for Xerox multifunctional products (printers) and subassemblies
(plastic moulded parts).
• Devised manufacturing lines designs to optimise space and unnecessary movements, applying lean
concepts, value stream mapping and models mix.
• Developed manufacturing plans (Flow Charts, Lay outs, PFMEAs, MPIs) for 12 different products.
• Coordinated international projects between US (Dallas, Cincinnati) and Mexico sites, designing and
manufacturing a high complex laparoscopic device.

Flextronics: Aguascalientes, Mexico – Product Engineer, Internship program (August 2011 - October 2013).
• Analysed non-conforming material, subassemblies and final product to reduce scrap rates and provide
feedback to materials suppliers.
• Conceptualized, maintained and improved manufacturing methods and operations, to optimise standard
times.
• Assisted measuring standard, takt and set up times, to calculate required manpower based on monthly
forecasts.
