PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
 Over 5 years experience gained as a Document Controller both in Civil Construction and in the Oil & Gas
Industry.
 Key responsibility is overseeing project information management and implementation of project
documentation/office procedures.
 A good track record for delivering project document requirements within a strict turn-around time.
 Exhibits excellent project information management skills and strong consistent leadership to efficiently
adhere to the project’s requirements and satisfaction.

PROJECT PROFILE
Early civil works of four artificial Islands for Oil production as part of the UZ750 Upper Zakum Project. General
scope includes major Civil and Infrastructure works, Temporary Camps and Utilities, Helipads, Telecommunications
Towers and Shelters, Geotechnical and Piling works, Bulk Services Piping, Warehouses and Electrical works.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Governance and assurance of the Document Control Management system.
 Closely monitor and coordinates the variety of documents and drawings received from the Contractor to
ensure that the Project documentation are in accordance with the agreed deliverables register and clarify
any queries and problems that might arise.
 Liaises with Project Management Team (IPMT) and Contractor’s Engineering personnel to ensure the
receipt of complete documents, updated drawings, specifications or other project documents are in
accordance with specific contract conditions.
 Receive, verify and routes the documents, Shop Drawings, As-Built drawings, Method Statements,
Procurement, Handover Certificates, Provisional Certificates, MARs, Engineering and QA/QC related, and
other technical queries for review and approval of the Project Management Team.
 Ensures that all documents and drawings issued/received are stamped, identified, dated, logged in the
proper register and in accordance with the Project Numbering System.
 Establish and maintains Master Document Register of all Project Technical documents, specifications and
drawings and updates register accordingly.
 Facilitates electronic copies of general/technical documents, data sheets, procedures, etc., and properly
handles the filing and archiving of all documents for easy retrieval and reference.
 Prepares and maintain the uploading and routing of drawing and technical documents as per the Client’s
Project EDMS via Smart Plant Foundation (SPF).
 Notifies the concern personnel on a weekly basis of all outstanding deliverables for review and approval.
 Maintains the soft copies of all documents to be available on the Shared Drive for reference and easy
access.
 Facilitates Document Control meeting on a monthly basis or as requested by the Immediate Supervisor for
proper monitoring and execution of procedures.
 Prepares weekly report based on the daily received technical/construction data.
 Involved in proper monitoring of Project close out and final documentation from Contractor to IPMT.
 Ensuring that all the technical data received and approved are complete and updated as per the ZADCO’s
requirements and procedure for the submission of the Final Handover/Documentation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Coordinate the receipt, recording, reproduction, distribution and tracking of documents by proper
verification to facilitate document control for the Pre-Contracts Department.
 Maintain and archive hard and soft copies of all general/technical and non-technical documents, Contract,
Post-Contract drawings, Shop Drawings and all other project documents like meeting minutes, Client and
Consultant correspondence, permits and government approvals in order to comply with Company
standards on project documentation.
 Ensures that incoming and outgoing correspondence is recorded, circulated and transmitted to relevant
parties in a timely manner.
 In-charge for the completion of Pre-Qualification documents of all existing and new suppliers/sub-
contractors of ongoing and completed projects of the Company in UAE.
 Maintain a library of vendor/sub-contractor’s company profiles, pre-qualification, and other related
information for reference to engineers and site personnel.
 Generate, verify and update the contact list of all suppliers & sub-contractors as per Site/Project.
 Follow up for status and updates for the completion of the Pre-qualification Documents.
 Coordinate and review the submitted documents are in accordance to Company requirements, standard
and procedures.
 Assisting the Estimation Department for following up status/updates of Tender enquiries in obtaining
quotations for Materials.
 Circulate the incoming and outgoing faxed quotations for materials to the QA/QC Department.
 Sends out Invitation to Tender and Letter of Intention to various companies, vendors and suppliers.
 Performs administrative and secretarial assistance to the Line Manager/Immediate Supervisor when
required.
 Prepare, draft, fax, transmit letters/correspondence.

PROJECT PROFILE
Built for the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu
Dhabi is the flagship hospitality project on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. It comprises 380 luxury hotel rooms, 259
residential apartments and 33 luxury residential villas. The project also features a retail and entertainment
component, a health and racquet club, a health spa and 1,600 structured parking bays. The St. Regis Saadiyat
Island Resort, Abu Dhabi is located adjacent to the Gary Player-designed 72-par Saadiyat Beach Golf Course and
was constructed by the Habtoor Leighton Group through a joint venture with Murray & Roberts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 Receives and verifies incoming Design Drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Request for
Information, As-Built Drawings and checks the accuracy of the transmittal notice such as drawing title,
number, revision, compliance with the standard template.
 Ensures that all documents and drawings issued/received are stamped, identified, dated, logged in the
proper register and in accordance with the project numbering system.
 Perform the routing of documents through a predefined workflow.
 Implements Electronic Document Management System EDMS (Wrench/Aconex)
 Maintain and archive hard and soft copies of documents/drawings/transmittals.
 Issues and circulates’ the documents to the site personnel, sub-contractors and suppliers as per the
Distribution Matrix.
 Notifies the Project Managers and Engineers of the latest drawings Issued for Construction (IFC) and
ensuring proper distribution to concerned Subcontractors.
 Ensures the timely turnaround of documentation issued internally or received externally.
 Processing of RFI’s (Request for Information) and Commented Shop Drawings.
 Processing of Site Safety Instructions and Daily Safety Inspection Reports.
 Coordinating with safety engineers/officers for the submitted reports.
 General clerical works such as scanning, copying, archiving & filing of documents.
 Perform other related duties as required.

PROJECT: Upper Zakum UZ750 (P8450 – Early Civil Works) CONTRACT VALUE US $: $ 18 Billion+ COMMENCEMENT: 2012 PROJECT PROFILE Early civil works of four artificial Islands for Oil production as part of the UZ750 Upper Zakum Project. General scope includes major Civil and Infrastructure works, Temporary Camps and Utilities, Helipads, Telecommunications Towers and Shelters, Geotechnical and Piling works, Bulk Services Piping, Warehouses and Electrical works. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Governance and assurance of the Document Control Management system.  Closely monitor and coordinates the variety of documents and drawings received from the Contractor to ensure that the Project documentation are in accordance with the agreed deliverables register and clarify any queries and problems that might arise.  Liaises with Project Management Team (IPMT) and Contractor’s Engineering personnel to ensure the receipt of complete documents, updated drawings, specifications or other project documents are in accordance with specific contract conditions.
  • 2.  Receive, verify and routes the documents, Shop Drawings, As-Built drawings, Method Statements, Procurement, Handover Certificates, Provisional Certificates, MARs, Engineering and QA/QC related, and other technical queries for review and approval of the Project Management Team.  Ensures that all documents and drawings issued/received are stamped, identified, dated, logged in the proper register and in accordance with the Project Numbering System.  Establish and maintains Master Document Register of all Project Technical documents, specifications and drawings and updates register accordingly.  Facilitates electronic copies of general/technical documents, data sheets, procedures, etc., and properly handles the filing and archiving of all documents for easy retrieval and reference.  Prepares and maintain the uploading and routing of drawing and technical documents as per the Client’s Project EDMS via Smart Plant Foundation (SPF).  Notifies the concern personnel on a weekly basis of all outstanding deliverables for review and approval.  Maintains the soft copies of all documents to be available on the Shared Drive for reference and easy access.  Facilitates Document Control meeting on a monthly basis or as requested by the Immediate Supervisor for proper monitoring and execution of procedures.  Prepares weekly report based on the daily received technical/construction data.  Involved in proper monitoring of Project close out and final documentation from Contractor to IPMT.  Ensuring that all the technical data received and approved are complete and updated as per the ZADCO’s requirements and procedure for the submission of the Final Handover/Documentation. WORK EXPERIENCE Document Controller (October 2011 to April 2014) Pre-Contracts Department (Procurement and Estimation) Habtoor Leighton Group (Divisional Head Office) Level 8, Aldar HQ, Al Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi U.A.E. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Coordinate the receipt, recording, reproduction, distribution and tracking of documents by proper verification to facilitate document control for the Pre-Contracts Department.  Maintain and archive hard and soft copies of all general/technical and non-technical documents, Contract, Post-Contract drawings, Shop Drawings and all other project documents like meeting minutes, Client and Consultant correspondence, permits and government approvals in order to comply with Company standards on project documentation.  Ensures that incoming and outgoing correspondence is recorded, circulated and transmitted to relevant parties in a timely manner.  In-charge for the completion of Pre-Qualification documents of all existing and new suppliers/sub- contractors of ongoing and completed projects of the Company in UAE.  Maintain a library of vendor/sub-contractor’s company profiles, pre-qualification, and other related information for reference to engineers and site personnel.  Generate, verify and update the contact list of all suppliers & sub-contractors as per Site/Project.  Follow up for status and updates for the completion of the Pre-qualification Documents.  Coordinate and review the submitted documents are in accordance to Company requirements, standard and procedures.  Assisting the Estimation Department for following up status/updates of Tender enquiries in obtaining quotations for Materials.  Circulate the incoming and outgoing faxed quotations for materials to the QA/QC Department.  Sends out Invitation to Tender and Letter of Intention to various companies, vendors and suppliers.  Performs administrative and secretarial assistance to the Line Manager/Immediate Supervisor when required.  Prepare, draft, fax, transmit letters/correspondence.

WORK EXPERIENCE POSITION: Document Controller (February 2011 to October 2011) CLIENT: Tourism Development & Investment Company CONTRACTOR: Habtoor Leighton Group – Murray and Roberts (JV/Consortium) PROJECT: St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. CONTRACT VALUE US $ : 490 Million COMMENCEMENT: August 2009 COMPLETION: June 2012 PROJECT PROFILE Built for the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi is the flagship hospitality project on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. It comprises 380 luxury hotel rooms, 259 residential apartments and 33 luxury residential villas. The project also features a retail and entertainment component, a health and racquet club, a health spa and 1,600 structured parking bays. The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi is located adjacent to the Gary Player-designed 72-par Saadiyat Beach Golf Course and was constructed by the Habtoor Leighton Group through a joint venture with Murray & Roberts.
